Great service and loved the swordfish tacos and chips.

Decided to use take out and the service and especially the for was terrific.We have been a regular dine in customer and are always saying let's go back soon again. For now it is take out.

We seat down no one came to our table. A server was too busy talking to the table next to us.!!! Finally we ordered ((2)) mango margaritas, (2) fish tacos, a house salad & an order of calamari. Went to the bathroom the margaritas we're sitting on pass out bar. Got back from the bathroom The margaritas are still sitting on the pass out bar!!! Another table had one glass of wine, she gets that one glass of wine and brings out that one single glass of wine,.. OUR margaritas are still at the pass out bar!!! Finally The margaritas are brought to us after the server has to shake it around because by this time they've started seperating... Lovely right.. the server has been working there since the cement was formed on the foundation of the building. News flash she might of had (((3))) other tables and it was 2pm. Absolutely no excuse especially when she passed the drinks three or four times without even acknowledging the fact she needs to get them to the customer....

Awesome crab fondue and our server Monica was awesome.

Lobster tempura tacos were delicious.

Fabulous food. The food was great, prepared by quality ingredients. The menu selection was great. Their customer services are excellent. Highly recommend.

Really impressed with their social distancing set up. One of our favorite spots to eat and yesterday didn't disappoint! Plus our boys always love eating at the Brigantine and they really enjoyed getting out of the house yesterday.

Service, food and atmosphere all deserve 5 stars. I believe our waiter's name was Brandon. He really took his time with us, and went above and beyond in regards to hospitality and being courteous. I can't wait to come back!

The lobster crab salad is absolutely to die for, the image shown is of the HALF size!!! It’s well priced wonderful food, definitely come on your birthday and get the mud pie because it’s the best I’ve ever had and is FREE for your birthday! They have great service and a great environment. Taco Tuesdays can get pretty lit 💁🏻‍♂️

Had a wonderful afternoon here with friends. The food was terrific . . . but we only did appetizers which were incredibly filling.

Love the #14 lamb kabob plate . They have freshly made delicious falafels. Their humus is fulfilling once it hits my palate .

Great selection of food and drink. The daily specials are usually pretty good. The have seafood, salad, soups, a chicken dish and grilled swordfish that is magnificent. Indoor and outdoor seating, and taco Tuesday's! Heck yeah! A quaint and enjoyable atmosphere.

The Lobster Tacos were excellent! The chocolate flan was melt in your mouth delicious! Our waitress, Ellen, was awesome! We were a large group celebrating my niece's college graduation and she kept our orders straight and drinks filled.

I love the Brigantine! We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable about the specials and menu dishes as well as off-menu items and she was incredibly attentive, without being annoying. I ordered the crab and lobster Cobb salad and it was so delicious! A generously large salad with lots of sweet, huge chunks of meat. For dessert I ordered the creme brulee. It was so decadent and the serving size was huge.I enough leftovers for two meals and I was thoroughly delighted with my experience. The only area of improvement is that the gals at the front desk are very young, rather immature and completely inattentive when we left. I said goodbye and they continued their conversation with each other without even acknowledging us. Certainly did not detract from the dining experience, which was outstanding.

Good food, good atmosphere. I'm not a big seafood fan but I still enjoyed my meal. And probably the best clam chowder in SD.

The swordfish tacos are the best... will give any other fish taco a run for its money.

First time there and I thinking it's too bad they didn't have sea bass and then the waitress gave us the specials and the first one was sea bass. It was great!

Outside seating in wonderfully shaded area. Excellent service and food!

Chef special of the day was amazing. New York strip with Lobster Thermador. Love this place.

Excellent restaurant!! My 68 year old brother had a birthday so our family took him here as a surprise! He was surprised and very happy. The staff was responsive and very thoughtful. Food was beyond amazing! I had lobster tacos for $22 and there was plenty of yummy food to take home too. I’ve never had such a marvelous dish and prefer it over regular lobster now. Husband had the crab cake and was delighted. He’d not had this for decades, saying they’re not the same as the ones on the east coast. But the dish was magnificent! Son had some kind of Japanese beef burger (Cant remember the name) and it was delicious too. We will go back. Outside seating looks wonderful although it was a hot day so we opted for inside seating. Several cool boats are hung from the ceiling, great venue!! You must try this!

Great Service. Love the Shrimp! They are huge😁. The steak wasn't dry.. A must!! And seasoned just right. The ambiance was relaxing, low light, and a nice place for family as well as that special someone.

The food was delicious I have the coconut shrimp and it had a very nice coleslaw underneath the shrimp it wasn't very much food though so I ordered a cup of clam chowder with it I was not impressed with the chowder and I'm a very big critic on chowder for being from Back East this was very poor it did have a lot of clams in it but the taste really was not good. The service was very good but very slow. The desserts were wonderful be careful if you order the mud cake as it's very hot in the center underneath the mound of vanilla ice cream.

Jake was a fantastic server. The Calamari Dore was delicious, celebrated my birthday. Our waitress was sweet and saw that we had everything we needed.

The oysters are so good here. We hadn't been here for long time. Good to come back. Got a good parking spot this time.

Best restaurant by far in East County and rivals any place in San Diego when it comes to great food, value, and excellent service. Overall one of my favorite restaurants in SD. I love the oysters and Mahi tacos. Their house fried tacos are best around. Super good service and friendly staff. 5 Stars Every time!

Very dissatisfied with my tacos. For the price it just wasn't worth it. The calimari was good. The shrimp cocktail was rediclous. I never need to come back here again. But it's fine.

Foods ok for the price. Service could be better. I was there for my and my daughters birthday. Was hoping it would be a special night but not really.

This was my second time eating here and I will say, the food is very good! From the appetizers to the main courses it's all good. For some reason I did get sick this night after eating here. Maybe it was a mixture of different seafoods i had ? Nevertheless, i still think this place is great.

I used to live in San Diego and has been over 15 years since I have eaten here. I was visiting and my brother brought me here. I completely forget how amazing this place was. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. There is a reason this place has been around forever. It was a little pricey but it was worth it. I look forward to returning when I visit again.

The Valentine's day dinner. Most experience that we have at Brigantine are amazing. However, this time around was just okay. My Halibut meal was much smaller then the gentleman's at the next table, but that was fine because the meal didn't contain much flavor. However, I did try a slice of the chocolate peanut butter (flourless cake). I didnt realize what take meant. Let's just say that it was not for me, and the waitress kindly removed it from the tab. I must say that the hospitality has always great there and I thank you for amazing customer service.

I went over with a friend who was treating me for my Birthday. We decided to take out our food. Service was fine. But the French Dip that I ordered was not good at all. Very fatty! I won't be ordering that again.

We always love the Brig! Excellent service, delightful cocktails and yummy food! Small bits, large meals, it's all here. Joey the manager is amazing! The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the 4% surcharge added to your bill, so tired of extra charges everywhere! Its rough, we really like the Brigantine and used to go more often.

The Brig!!!This place is a personal favorite of mine. Every time I visit it's always phenomenal. So fresh. Wonderful staff.I love the Brigantine. If you've been, I'm sure you love it too. If you haven't.... go fall in love!

Decent prices considering the amazing quality of food! Have gluten free options and is easily marked on the menu. Wait staff is courteous and prompt. They didn't cringe at the sight of my 4 year old twins. They had kids menus and crayons. So, to summarize, delicious food, great service, and kid friendly!

They reopened without the blue cheese potato salad on the menu. Now the fish tacos are just so so. Have to find a new place for happy hour.

The best seafood you will find in all of San Diego. Seafood appears to be all Catch of the Day from local. Had the Ahi and it was the best I've ever had. Waiters and waitresses are very attentive and the Brigantine has always had the best fish tacos you could get anywhere in San Diego. While you have some pricey items the quality outweighs the cost

They are following the rules during Covid-19. Felt safe eating there and the food is always delicious.
